Project Overview:

Pan Gulf Technologies was chosen to support a renowned surfactant manufacturer in delivering a Sulfonation Plant designed for high-output LABSA production. The facility required tight control over corrosion handling, chemical flow, and layout precision due to aggressive media.

Scope of Work:

01. 3D intelligent modeling of process reactors and SO₃ gas systems
02. Piping and instrumentation diagrams for hazardous zones
03. Structural detailing for steel and RCC foundations
04. General arrangement drawings, isometrics, and support detailing
05. MTOs, BOQs, and vendor coordination documentation

Key Challenges:

01. Equipment arrangement in a compact site footprint
02. Chemical compatibility design in high-corrosion areas
03. Compliance with gas leak management and zoning norms

Engineering Approach:

01. Used PTFE-lined systems and corrosion-resistant alloys in the model
02. 3D modeling integrated civil and process for early clash detection
03. Implemented automated extraction of GA, MTO, and BOQ for fast delivery
