Project Summary:

01. It is a one-story single-family house constructed using the modular construction method.

02. It consists of four modules and one garage, with the garage built using stick-built construction.

03. At the start of the project, the client shared a hand-drawn sketch, which we converted into a 3D model.

04. PGT held a few live design sessions with the client to finalize the structure.

05. PGT created model-based Design Development (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD) sets. We also prepared a separate building permit set for this project.

06. Since this is modular construction, PGT had to use exact dimensions and sizes according to Modular Home Standards and document them accordingly.

Scope of work

01. The BIM models include slabs/floors, walls, roof, doors, windows, stairs, floor finishes, ceilings, and furniture.

02. All documentation for the Design Development (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD) drawings includes schedules, site plan, construction plan, floor plans, elevations, sections, interior elevations of modules, and 2D details.

03. PGT created sheet sequence plans, module plans, and their sections to assist the modular manufacturing factory with the CD set.

04. The model was rendered using Enscape software.
