The project is located in Neom Oxagon Village, Saudi Arabia, a futuristic development situated in the north of the Red Sea, positioned east of Egypt across the Gulf of Aqaba and south of Jordan. This strategic location plays a crucial role in the region’s ambitious vision for sustainable and technologically advanced urban infrastructure. The site’s unique geographic positioning influences the design and implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring resilience, efficiency, and environmental harmony in alignment with Neom’s innovative urban planning goals.
The project was developed based on key inputs from the client, including 2D drainage drawings, along with structural and architectural Revit models to ensure accurate integration with existing designs. The client also provided NEOM drafting standards, drawing procedures, file naming conventions, Civil 3D drawing templates, title blocks, and CAD support files, ensuring compliance with project guidelines. Additionally, eight model drawings depicting RWP and foul pop-ups for each unit type were supplied in PDF and DWG formats, facilitating precise 3D model development and coordination.
The project scope involved converting 2D drainage drawings into 3D models using Civil 3D and setting up 71 models with precise coordinates. Additionally, COBie, Omniclass, Uniclass, and Wildcard parameters were assigned to both foul and surface networks using Dynamo scripts for all models. The finalized models were then exported in multiple formats, including .NWC, .NWD, .IFC, .DWFx, COBie, and PDF, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility across various platforms.
