About the Project

Pan Gulf Technologies Limited delivered comprehensive structural precast engineering for infrastructure water-treatment components in the UK. The project involved designing and modeling precast tanks including the Activated Sludge Basin Tank and Flash Aeration Tank as propped cantilevers, as well as several vertical cantilever tanks like the Final Pump Pit, Inlet Pump Pit, and Sludge Tank, with full thermal analysis and coordinated site solutions

Client Overview

The client needed precise precast tank designs capable of handling hydrostatic loads and wind stresses for critical water-treatment facilities. Pan Gulf Technologies collaborated closely with piping engineers, structural designers, reviewing authorities, and contractors to ensure design accuracy and execution readiness.

Scope of Work

Structural design and 3D modeling of various precast tanks using STAAD Connect. Reinforcement detailing, unit drawings, and shop drawings across all tank types. Analysis of hydrostatic pressure for propped cantilever tanks; calculation of temporary prop capacities to withstand wind loads. Thermal performance checks conducted on every tank to ensure design safety. Engaged in continuous coordination with client teams and delivered on-site solutions to resolve casting errors
