About the Project:

The Residential Cluster Precast Belgium project represents a modern European housing development executed with advanced precast modeling and detailing techniques. This Residential Cluster Precast Belgium assignment required high-precision BIM coordination to meet architectural and structural standards. Pan Gulf Technologies Limited delivered a comprehensive precast engineering package for a cluster of three residential buildings in Belgium. The project required General Arrangement drawings, detailed shop/unit drawings, reinforced concrete (RC) drawings, and a Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) across a total of 1,056 units. Multiple design revisions necessitated rigorous coordination with various stakeholders

Client Overview:

The client commissioned PGT to create an engineering package that would ensure precise fabrication and installation for the cluster. Stakeholder requirements and frequent revisions meant effective communication and adaptability were essential.

Scope of Work:

Delivered General Arrangement (GA) drawings, shop/unit drawings, RC back-up drawings, and a BBS for 1,056 units.

Managed numerous design changes, ensuring that updated drawings remained accurate and installable.

Key Challenges:

  • Handling a high volume of units (1,056) under intense time and coordination pressure.
  • Incorporating frequent design changes while maintaining accuracy and deliverable integrity.

Solutions Delivered:

Using AutoCAD as the main platform, Pan Gulf Technologies executed the detailed engineering package with precision across all deliverables. Strong coordination protocols enabled the team to manage design revisions effectively, ensuring that every drawing—down to the unit level—met accuracy standards and client expectations

Software Used:

AutoCAD: used for General Arrangement drawings, shop and unit drawings, RC documentation, and generating the BBS.

Results Achieved:

Successfully produced 1,056 specified drawings, including GA, shop/unit, RC, and BBS, to facilitate fabrication and installation.

Maintained drawing quality and consistency despite multiple design revisions.
