About The Project

Redevelopment of an old commercial centre site to create a Company Headquarter Campus. The development included demolition of office blocks and the development of 6 storey office buildings over three levels of basement.

PROJECT SCOPE:

Preparation of 3D Model of Precast wall panels and Shop drawings including Mould and RC details

PROJECT DELIVERABLES:

3D Model in Tekla, Shop Drawings – Mould and RC drawings, BBS

SOLUTION PROVIDED BY PGT:

PGT was assigned to prepare a 3D Tekla model and Shop drawings for complex precast wall panel units. First, the Unit Drawings had to be extracted from the Tekla Model, and then the Mould & RC drawings were prepared along with the generation of Bar Bending Schedule.

BENEFITS / CHALLENGES:

The job was already on-site and the need for production drawings on time was the priority. Client had approached PGT to take up this work and meet their strict deadlines. Working with the client for the first time within such a challenging schedule meant PGT had to deliver the drawings for very complex geometry on time with minimum rework. With the timely delivery & first-time accuracy of the outputs, PGT was able to complete the task within the schedule.
