About The Project
Redevelopment of an old commercial center site to create a company headquarters campus. The development included the demolition of office blocks and the construction of six-story office buildings over three levels of basement.
PROJECT SCOPE:
Preparation of a 3D model of precast wall panels and shop drawings, including mold and RC details.

Tekla
PROJECT DELIVERABLES:
3D model in Tekla, shop drawings – mold and RC drawings, BBS.
SOLUTION PROVIDED BY PGT:
PGT was assigned to prepare a 3D Tekla model and shop drawings for complex precast wall panel units. First, the unit drawings were extracted from the Tekla model, followed by the preparation of mould and RC drawings, along with the generation of the bar bending schedule.
BENEFITS / CHALLENGES:
The job was already on-site, and meeting the production drawing deadlines was a priority. The client approached PGT to take on this work and meet their strict timelines. Working with the client for the first time under such a challenging schedule meant PGT had to deliver drawings for very complex geometry on time, with minimal rework. Thanks to the timely delivery and first-time accuracy of the outputs, PGT was able to complete the task within the schedule.
