PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project is a 4-story parking garage in the U.S. designed for commuters using the RTD Metro.

SOLUTION PROVIDED BY PGT:

The project was a multi-story parking structure for the metro line at 104th Station in the U.S. It was a fast-paced project, with the majority of PGT's scope involving miscellaneous steel. PGT actively participated in coordination with other trades for timely delivery and completed the project on schedule.

CHALLENGES:

Fast-paced projects with the majority of our work in miscellaneous steel meant that PGT had to be agile and proactive in ensuring there were no issues related to coordination with other trades from the start of the project. By actively participating in coordination meetings and pursuing pressing RFIs, seeking clarifications on conflicting information, we were able to speed up our miscellaneous steel detailing without slowing down, while still being on track with the main steel scope. The overall project was completed within the agreed schedule, except for a few last-minute design changes.
